Office employees generally begin the ServiceTitan login process at https://go.servicetitan.com. Do not bookmark the temporary authentication page because ServiceTitan says saved or outdated login links can expire.
This independent guide is not affiliated with ServiceTitan. It cannot create an account, activate a technician, change company permissions, or recover access for a user.
The right solution depends on where the failure occurs. An expired browser page, an incorrect tenant password, missing mobile access, and a Customer Portal invitation problem can look similar while requiring completely different fixes.
What ServiceTitan is
ServiceTitan provides software for residential and commercial contractors. Its platform supports service visits, construction projects, proposals, reporting, dispatch operations, and other business functions used by contracting companies.
Internal access is normally supplied through the organization that subscribes to ServiceTitan. Employees and technicians should not assume they can register independently through the public company website.
Customers occupy a separate path. A contractor may give its customers portal access for activities such as self-scheduling, payments, invoices, and other configured services.
Identify your role first.
Which ServiceTitan login page should you open?
Several ServiceTitan environments exist, and their credentials are not always interchangeable.
| User type | Starting point | Likely access owner |
|---|---|---|
| Office employee | ServiceTitan Go | Contractor administrator |
| Field technician | Field or ST Field mobile app | Contractor administrator |
| Enterprise user | Enterprise Hub | Enterprise administrator |
| Individual Enterprise tenant user | ServiceTitan Go tenant account | Tenant administrator |
| Contractor customer | Contractor-specific Customer Portal | Contractor’s office |
| Inventory Mobile user | Assigned mobile application | Contractor administrator |
The standard employee application begins at:
Enterprise Hub begins at:
The current Enterprise Hub page presents a dedicated ServiceTitan sign-in flow and a Sign in with Microsoft Entra ID option.
A customer should use the portal link supplied by the contractor. ServiceTitan does not provide one universal public Customer Portal that searches across every contracting business.
Use the assigned route. Skip third-party login directories.
Fix “Your login page has expired”
ServiceTitan’s authentication site displays the exact message Your login page has expired! when the page being used is outdated. It instructs users to start from the main application rather than bookmarks or saved links.
Close the affected tab and manually open:
Do not repeatedly refresh the expired address. The URL may belong to a temporary authentication session, so refreshing can preserve the same invalid state.
The message does not prove that the user account was disabled. It also does not mean the company’s ServiceTitan subscription expired.
The page expired. Nothing more can be concluded from that message alone.
Remove any bookmark that leads directly to the authentication page and replace it with the main ServiceTitan Go address.
Fix the “JavaScript is required” screen
ServiceTitan’s login application requires JavaScript. When the browser prevents the necessary scripts from running, the page displays JavaScript is required and asks the user to enable JavaScript before reloading.
This problem occurs before a normal credential check can be completed. Resetting the password is unlikely to help while the login application itself cannot load.
Check:
- Whether JavaScript is enabled for the site
- Whether a script-blocking extension affects the page
- Whether the company’s browser policy blocks required content
- Whether the problem appears in another approved browser session
Do not disable every security control at once. Test one change, record the result, and restore the prior setting when it makes no difference.
Company-managed browsers may require the local IT team to review the policy.
Reset a ServiceTitan employee password
The employee and technician recovery path begins with Forgot password? ServiceTitan’s current documentation says the reset form can accept the username, email address, or mobile phone number associated with the account. The user then selects Submit and completes account verification.
The phrase “associated with the account” is important. A technician’s ServiceTitan username may differ from the email address used for normal company communication.
If the recovery form does not recognize the expected information, contact the local ServiceTitan administrator. An authorized administrator can inspect the employee or technician profile and verify which account identifier is assigned.
Do that before trying several unrelated addresses.
ServiceTitan’s permissions documentation shows that certain authorized office users can edit another user’s username or password, activate or deactivate employees, and assign roles. Those controls depend on the employee’s administrative permissions.
Reset a password from ServiceTitan Field
The current ServiceTitan Field application uses slightly different names by platform. Android users open Field, while iOS users open ST Field. In both versions, the documented process is to tap Sign in, enter the assigned username and password, and tap Sign In.
For password recovery, tapping Forgot password? opens the reset prompt in a browser rather than completing recovery inside ServiceTitan Mobile. The user enters the associated username, email address, or mobile phone number and continues through account verification.
That browser handoff is expected.
Complete the recovery page, return to the mobile application, and test the updated account. A worker who still cannot enter should ask the company administrator to check the profile rather than repeatedly reinstalling the app.
ServiceTitan also states that temporary technician passwords expire after 60 minutes. An older temporary credential may therefore fail even when it was copied correctly.
Why mobile access can fail with the correct password
A valid credential does not guarantee access to every ServiceTitan mobile product.
ServiceTitan’s Inventory Mobile troubleshooting addresses a specific situation where a technician can access standard ServiceTitan Mobile but cannot enter Inventory Mobile. The documented checks include network stability, Wi-Fi versus cellular data, firewall or VPN interference, and whether Inventory Mobile is enabled in ServiceTitan Settings.
Use the pattern of failure:
- No mobile app works: check the account and technician profile.
- Field works but Inventory Mobile fails: check product-specific configuration.
- Wi-Fi works but cellular fails: investigate the network path.
- Several technicians fail together: check shared settings or service availability.
- One technician fails after a role change: review that user’s current permissions.
Check configuration first, reinstall second. Reinstalling cannot enable a disabled application setting or restore a deactivated technician.
This is one of the most common troubleshooting mistakes: treating every mobile-access problem as damaged app data.
Separate MFA errors from password errors
Multi-factor authentication takes place after or alongside the main credential process. A correct password can therefore be followed by an MFA failure.
ServiceTitan documents a Session Expired message when the authentication session times out. It also shows an account-lock message after the maximum number of attempts has been exceeded, directing the user to contact an administrator.
When the same MFA error repeats, stop retrying. Beginning another sequence without checking the account state can create additional lockout trouble.
An administrator should determine whether:
- The user is enrolled in the required authentication method
- The session expired before verification finished
- The account has been locked
- The organization changed its authentication configuration
- The issue affects one user or a larger group
The exact process varies according to the contractor’s identity setup. Enterprise Hub, for example, currently supports a separate sign-in route through Microsoft Entra ID.
Password recovery and MFA troubleshooting are related, but they are not the same task.
Enterprise Hub and tenant passwords
Enterprise Hub users can encounter two separate credentials: the Enterprise Hub account and the account for an individual ServiceTitan tenant.
ServiceTitan’s tenant recovery instructions say to visit ServiceTitan Go, select Forgot Password?, enter the associated email address, and reset the password for the individual tenant. The documentation specifically warns that this process resets the tenant password, not the Enterprise Hub password.
The separate Enterprise Hub recovery page asks for the email address associated with the Hub account and sends a reset link.
Choose the reset based on the failure:
- Enterprise Hub does not open: recover the Hub account.
- Hub opens but one tenant fails: recover or inspect that tenant.
- Some tenants work and one does not: treat it as a tenant-specific issue.
- Every tenant fails after Hub login: check broader Hub access or configuration.
For a specific tenant problem, ServiceTitan also documents an administrator-initiated Send Password Reset action and the ServiceTitan Go self-service recovery route.
Reset only the credential that is failing.
Customer Portal access is contractor-specific
The ServiceTitan Customer Portal is designed for customers of a particular contracting company. ServiceTitan describes portal capabilities that may include self-scheduling, payments, and other customer-facing actions, but the available features depend on what the contractor has configured.
A customer should start with:
- The portal link in the contractor’s email
- A link on the contractor’s website
- An invoice or service message containing the portal address
- Instructions supplied by the contractor’s office
The employee login at ServiceTitan Go is not the correct recovery route for a customer account.
When a portal invitation fails, contact the contractor directly. Its staff may need to check whether the customer record contains the intended email address and whether portal access has been enabled.
Do not create repeated accounts with different addresses. That can make it harder for the contractor to match the portal user with the correct customer or service location.
Is ServiceTitan down or is one account affected?
Scope is more useful than guesswork.
A problem affecting one technician usually points toward that user’s profile, permission, device, or network. A failure affecting an entire office may involve a shared connection, identity provider, browser policy, or wider ServiceTitan issue.
Ask three questions:
- Can another employee sign in?
- Does the same user fail on another approved device or browser?
- Does the failure affect ServiceTitan Go, the mobile app, Enterprise Hub, or only one tenant?
One successful login can eliminate several theories. If office employees can enter ServiceTitan Go while one technician cannot access Inventory Mobile, a platform-wide outage is less likely than an app-specific permission or connection problem.
Do not begin mass password resets when many users fail simultaneously. Check the shared systems and ServiceTitan support information first.
When to contact the local administrator
Contact the company’s ServiceTitan administrator when:
- A new employee never received usable access
- The recovery form does not recognize the expected identifier
- A technician account is inactive
- Mobile access or an application permission may be missing
- The account is locked
- Enterprise Hub opens but a tenant does not
- The organization uses Microsoft Entra ID or another managed identity route
ServiceTitan’s permissions documentation confirms that administrative abilities such as editing another user’s credentials, activating employees, and assigning roles are permission-controlled.
A useful support report should state the application, device, browser, environment, approximate failure time, exact visible error, and whether anyone else is affected.
Avoid sending account secrets through ordinary messages. Keep recovery and access changes within the employer’s approved administrative process.
Frequently asked questions
Where is the main ServiceTitan login?
Use https://go.servicetitan.com.
Why does my ServiceTitan bookmark show an expired page?
It probably points to an outdated authentication session. Open ServiceTitan Go directly and replace the old bookmark with the main application address.
Can I reset a technician password by email?
The recovery screen accepts the username, email address, or mobile phone number associated with the account. The administrator may need to confirm which identifier is actually stored in the technician profile.
How long is a temporary technician password valid?
ServiceTitan states that temporary passwords expire after 60 minutes.
Why can Field work while Inventory Mobile does not?
Inventory Mobile has separate enablement and connection checks. ServiceTitan recommends reviewing network stability, cellular versus Wi-Fi access, firewall or VPN interference, and the Inventory Mobile setting.
Is Enterprise Hub the same as a ServiceTitan tenant?
No. A Hub account and an individual tenant can have separate password-recovery routes.
What does Session Expired mean during MFA?
The authentication session timed out. Start a fresh login process; contact the administrator when the account is locked or the error continues.
Can customers use ServiceTitan Go?
No. Customers use the portal supplied by their contractor.
